Pavillion – large pavilion with many picnic tables inside.

Picnic tables – both inside and outside of the pavillion.

Fire rings –

Tent pads –

Facilities (each site):

Group campsites – Two sites, up to 20 people per site.

Seasons:

Camping “in season”.  For 2018, that is April 1 to November 1.  Always check their website for dates for the current year.

Other tips:

As previously stated, make sure to check in with office the morning you are camping, to make sure they leave the gate unlocked for you.

Fairly quiet campground considering the road isn’t far off, but can be loud if the bar has an outdoor event (which happened to us once night of the many weekends we’ve stayed here).

Nearby trails and things to see:

The campground has a rope challenge course that you can call ahead of time to arrange to use.

Canoeing the Great Egg Harbor River – borders the campsite, which has a put-in/take-out for canoes and kayaks right at the campground.

Estell Manor County Park – Estell Manor, NJ – very close to this Atlantic County Park.  Features many, many miles of trails, the remains of World War I munitions factory, the remains of an old glassworks, playgrounds, a nature center, and more!

Ocean City, NJ – we stay here each year when we help with the rest stops at the Multiple Sclerosis City-to-Shore Bike Ride.
