Website – Ridley Creek State Park  Open – Day use areas open dawn to dusk.

Terrain – Forest, hills, stream, and woods Surface – Some paved, some dirt, some rocks

Trailheads – N 39° 56.727 W 075° 25.290

Directions – 598 Barrens Road, Media, PA

Parking – Very crowded on nice days.  Parking lot is at trailhead coordinates, additional parking along Chapel Hill Road.

Dog friendly? Leashed dogs allowed Stroller friendly? Some are, some are very much not Benches? [...]

Ben Franklin Bridge Walk – Camden, NJ to Philadelphia, PA

Ben Franklin Bridge Walk – Camden, Camden County, NJ to Philadelphia, PA Distance –  about 1.5 miles one way Type – Out-and-back Difficulty:  3 of 10 (steepest trail for miles around, sun and wind can be an issue)

Closed until Spring 2019!

NOTE: The South Side walkway is closed until Spring of 2019 for renovations.  We’ll include information for it here, but it won’t be actually usable until then.  The North Side walkway is open, and that’s the one that we used.

Conestoga Trail: Pequea Creek Campground to House Rock– Pequea, Lancaster County, PA Distance: 6 miles round trip Type: Out and back Difficulty: 8 of 10 – some very steep up and downs, including areas Total score: 10 of 10.

Terrain – Steep hills, not for the faint of heart.

Trailheads –  39° 53.577’N,  76° 21.480’W (Pequea Creek Campground)

Camping – Pequea Creek Campground – family owned campground run by some really nice people.

Mt Minsi Loop – Delaware Water Gap, PA

Mt. Minsi Loop – Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, PA Distance: about 4 miles (I intelligently drove off with my GPS still running, hence the guesstimate). Difficulty: 7 of 10.

Terrain – Mountain, cliffs, awesomeness (not technically a terrain feature). Map:

Ignore where it “ends” according to the red flag, I didn’t turn it off before I took a drive to the Delaware Water Gap Visitor’s Center. The start and stop is where the green arrow is, heading South.  The AT is the line closest to the water, the fireroad is further inland. Website –http://www.nps.gov/dewa/index.htm
