Manumuskin River Preserve – Millville, Cumberland County, NJ Distance – 4 miles total (trail was probably 3, plus some wandering) Type – lollipop Difficulty:  3 of 10 – walk along the stones over the swamp is a pain

South Cape May Meadows – Cape May, NJ

South Cape May Meadows Preserve – Cape May, Cape May County, NJ Distance – 1.75 miles of trail (but spur requires some backtracking, plus can walk down to the beach at certain times of the year), we did 2.4 miles here. Type – Loop with an out-and-back spur, as well as a spur that connects with Cape May Point State Park. Difficulty: 1 of 10

Bear Swamp at Red Lion Preserve (Section B) – Southampton and Tabernacle, Burlington County, NJ Distance – a bit over 2 miles total between the two trails Type – A pair of out-and-back hikes that fork. Difficulty: 4 of 10 – trails can be tough to follow at times
