Distance –  2.8 miles of trails (official).  We did 3.0 miles of trails (with slight overlap).
Type – Series of loops.
Difficulty:  3 of 10
Total score: 5 of 10

Website – The Nature Conservancy
Open – Sunrise to Sunset.

Terrain – Woods, marsh, and a bit of swamp.
Surface – Mostly dirt.

Bald Eagle Trail – 1.5 miles round trip listed (1.75 miles round trip by GPS)
Maple Street Trail – Did not hike (yet)!
Warfle Farm Trail – Did not hike (yet)!
Tat Starr Trail – Did not hike (yet)!
Type – A series of out-and-back trails
Difficulty:  2 of 10 – although this has to go up in the summer, when I’m sure the bugs and the sun might be brutal.

Distance: 2 miles (one way) (We walked 1.6 miles total)
Type: Out and back.
Difficulty: 1 of 10.
Total score: 7 of 10.

Maurice River Bluffs Preserve – Millville, NJ

Welcome to the Maurice River Bluffs!

Welcome to the Maurice River Bluffs!  Taken from the floating dock.

Blue, Orange, Red, and White Trails – Maurice River Bluffs Preserve – Millville, Cumberland County, NJ
Distance: 5 miles.  The map is a little confusing.  We did 3.7 miles, skipping only some short bits of the orange trail and part of the non-alternate Blue Trail (which was closed).  5 miles is a best guess.
Type: Web of trails (many of them are loops, the orange trail loops back on itself several times)
Difficulty: 7 of 10 – your legs will feel these hills the next day!
Total score:  10 of 10.

Terrain – woodlands, riverbanks, lots and lots of hills.

Trailheads – 39° 21.200’N,  75° 2.179’W – all trails lead from the parking lot.

Distance: About 3 miles of trails
NOTE: This does not include that the access road is walk-in only, about 0.33 miles one way.
River Overlook Trail – 1 mile round trip  (according to GPS)
Jenkins Landing Trail – 0.4 miles round trip (sic)
Red Cedar Overlook Trail – listed as 1.5 miles round trip
Type: Lollipops, loops, spurs, and out-and-back
Difficulty: 2  of 10.
Total score: 5 of 10.
