So one of my favorite places in South Jersey is the Battleship USS New Jersey. Over the years, I’ve done a lot of work cleaning her with the scouts, helping out with Eagle Projects there, and welcome soldiers and sailors there for Thanksgiving dinner.

Directions: Penbryn Road, Winslow, NJ (Note – in my GPS, it comes up as Berlin.) It’s just before the railroad track.
Added some Fall pictures to this trail, one of our favorites as the pond is pretty in all the seasons, and its only a few minutes from our house. Hopkins Pond is nearly as old as this country, and Birdwood (a good view from the trail) was the home not just to the Hopkins family, but to Governor Alfred Driscoll.
