Description –
I saw this on Google Maps and was curious… what was this? It turns out someone turned their yard into a little nature preserve “for bird watching and turtle nesting”!
That this is the shortest trail we’ve ever reviewed a few hundredths of mile shouldn’t deter you from stopping here, it’s a lovely little loop with a beautiful view of the bay, happy birds, and (in season) lovely flowers.

Well done Levitt family, well done.
Nearby:
Cove Avenue Park is almost next door and Northfield also has one of our favorites – Birch Grove Park – with miles of lovely trails and a zillion little bridges.
