Description –
Back in March, I was trying to get over the flu and was laid up for a bit. I started to feel a bit better, and decided to take a short walk to explore Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. If I had realized this was one of my last hikes before being at the house for 50 straight days, I would have done the loop twice!
I started off on the paved loop that goes around the fields, and wondered if I could get around to the other side of the lake.
I was happy to find out that there was a path around the lake. Of course, I abandoned the pavement for the grass and dirt. The trail looped around and over a small foot bridge.
The other side of the pond had some fine trees, still waiting to burst into green when Spring rolled around in a few weeks.
I headed up to the road to cross over the pond again, then finished the loop back to the parking lot. I was worn out already (stupid getting over being sick), so it was into the car and back home.
Nearby:
Close by are the Pennsauken Historial Society Nature Trail, Fish House Cove Nature Trail, the Merchantville Bike Path, and Palmyra Nature Cove.
Lovely little lake, saw some birds, and a little bridge
On the short side, although can expand with the paved loop around the field.
