Description –
Way back on August 1, Trisha posted in our South Jersey Trails facebook group that she went for a hike at the new-ish Elbo Park Walking Trails. We’re not ones to turn down a new place, so the next day, The Pres, Tree Rider and I were off! It was very easy to find.
Turned out it was a small 1/2 mile paved loop. Plenty of benches and even a few picnic tables. Kids were practicing riding around.
It didn’t take long to walk around, but we enjoyed it. The parts of the park in the middle of the trails were well mown, and around the edges there were places where the grass was allowed to grow high and flowers appeared.
All in all, not anywhere I’d journey a ways to see, but a lovely little ten minutes walk on a nice day.
Nearby: This is about two minutes away from the mysterious Mt. Laurel State Park, which has a nice, also short, hiking trail. Also close to the Medford trails like Hartford Crossing Trails, Medford WMA, Dr James Still Nature Trail and the various Moorestown trails like Little Woods on Rancocas Creek, Farrago Farm, and Pompeston Park Trails.
Nice, easy walk
Very short with just a meadow, so not much variety.
