Description – Loyal reader and schoolhood friend Marybeth recently went for a hike on the Batsto Lake White Trail and was nice enough to share her pictures! This is the last trail at Batsto I haven’t done, but the Batsto Lake Red and Blue Trail are so great, that this one has to be just as nice!
Note that the White Trail overlaps with the Red and Blue trails for good stretches, and follows the Batona Trail for quite a stretch!
The picture comments are Marybeth’s!

A tree rests on power lines on the first road you cross on the white trail. (From the big storm a week or two prior!)

Some trees down on the path from the storm. Scaling them was no problem with even just a moderate degree of athleticism.

Spot the tiny frog. I placed my finger next to him/her, so you could get an idea of how small he/she is!

A good view of Batsto Lake. If the pic resolution is good enough, you may be able to spot the blue and green kayaks!
Big thanks to Marybeth for sharing her hike!
Some nice pine forest, but mostly beautiful lake views.
No real negatives.
