We had our first official South Jersey Trails group hike today, the Daddy-Kid Hike.  Was on the warm side, but was much cooler in the woods!  We had just under a dozen dads come out, and about 15 kids.  Highlights of the hike included the mountain laurel being in bloom, a snake, some chipmunks, and what we thought was a beaver but later looked more like a really huge turtle.

It was great to meet some local dads, and everyone seemed to have a great time.  I’m sure we’ll have more outings in the future!
